Xbox Music Question

First off, where would I even direct any xbox music enquiries?

Anyway, just a question for anyone who has experience with Xbox Music. I keep seeing on the support pages that there is a 'Xbox Music Store' where I can purchase mp3s to download, but on the xbox.music.com website there is no option present to purchase,
only stream. I am in the UK and using Windows 7.

On my Windows Phone music app I can purchase songs however. The question then though is, that how is the DRM for purchased MP3? Would I be able to transfer the MP3 to my computer then burn to cd? That's the ultimate goal. I personally have an Xbox Music
Pass, but my partner would like a custom CD to play in her car's CD player. Is she best just sticking with amazon mp3? I like to promote Xbox Music as much as possible but sometimes it is just a little bit annoying.

No you only can stream content.Thats it.Get your music from Itunes instead.You can burn discs too .Xbox Music is a ripoff.Why pay for a subscription to stream music when other sites and apps give you a much bigger selection of FREE content.

 

I think you need a windows 8 device to buy and download music from xbox music. I just bought a song on my surface and transferred it to a windows 7 pc with no issues. I hope that helps.

 

Why not use Vevo or youtube for free??? ( on any platform)

No need to pay for ANY music.........

Xbox Music AKA-Zune- was never the best paid service anyway. JMHO

Assume xbox music is just for the Xbox. Maybe look into other service providers that better fit your needs.

Xbox Music works on my Xbox, PC, Surface, Ipod and my phone. I don't have many other options that cover all of those devices and have offline listening.

 

Xbox Music has served the needs for me and my partner for a couple of years now. It's had every single artist or album we've ever searched for and streams with efficiency from our 360, One, Phones and Windows 7 IE. I think £9 a month for the convenience
is more than worth it.

And HailofSteel that's wrong, I can download any music from the service onto my Phone, my data usage would be through the roof otherwise.

Thank you drqg, I can purchase individual tracks/albums on my Windows 8 Phone, just wasn't too sure if I could then copy the MP3s to my Windows 7 laptop and burn them to disc. I'll just give it a go.
