    Xbox music question


    I'm thinking about buying the Xbox music but have one question. I own the 360, x1, surface 2, and windows 8 phone. I'm aware its supposed to play on all the devices. My question is do I need to download the songs or is it streaming on all the devices?

    Hey Staid. To put music on your 505, you can either download directly from the Xbox Music app, or you can sync it with your PC using Xbox Music. You can checkout our

    If you add the songs to your collection or playlist then you should be able to access them on all devices.

    That wasn't the question. I need to know if I have to download the songs or if they are streaming. I would like to listen to my music at work but have have a terrible signal out on the river. So if the songs aren't installed on my phone I won't be able to
    hear them correct?

    Xbox Music has served the needs for me and my partner for a couple of years now. It's had every single artist or album we've ever searched for and streams with efficiency from our 360, One, Phones and Windows 7 IE. I think £9 a month for the convenience
    is more than worth it.

    And HailofSteel that's wrong, I can download any music from the service onto my Phone, my data usage would be through the roof otherwise.

    Thank you drqg, I can purchase individual tracks/albums on my Windows 8 Phone, just wasn't too sure if I could then copy the MP3s to my Windows 7 laptop and burn them to disc. I'll just give it a go.

    No you only can stream content.Thats it.Get your music from Itunes instead.You can burn discs too .Xbox Music is a ripoff.Why pay for a subscription to stream music when other sites and apps give you a much bigger selection of FREE content.
