Xbox Music in background

Listening to music while I play games is a huge thing for me, and it was great for me on 360... but now being forced to snap the music on the screen is extremely irritating. So as the title suggests I wanted to know if playing music in the background was
already a feature I overlooked and if not I wanted to know if it could be added in the near future.

USB Flash Drive not being Detected?

The Xbox apps do not currently support playing music from a USB drive for background music. There are some 3rd party apps that have this ability like Simple Background Music Player.

 

It is not there as of yet. Believe me when I tell you that you are not the only one that wants to be able to use a service like Xbox Music in the background while you play games.

 

Its actually the second most requested feature in Xbox Feedback. Dash themes being first. Check it out!

Trash because its users are more concerned about a dashboard and its color....I didn' t buy this console to play "dashboard" and listen to music, bought it for these things called video games....

 

According to the head of Xbox, its about "games games games". Though I'd still like to see the missing Xbox Live Features added to Xbox 1 like voice commands change dash background and maybe even music. The head of Xbox also knows that lots of peps want
to be able to play music in the background.

There's really nothing to tell. It's = too the fish tank game on Xbox 360

 

The games are good. The system still needs improvement.

@smiles....sure, "dashboard" is this game that so many want to play. Change tile color stare at dashboard for 5 minutes, flip to store menu.....stare for 5 minutes. Change tile color, flip to achievemnet menu.....stare for 5 minutes....now, instead of changing
colors, people want to add some sort of background image...that way their endless hours staring at menus will be more enjoyable somehow...meanwhile I will be playing GAMES. Because as soon as I see a menu I use it to quickly launch (via voice, controller,
or harmony remote).

 

This would be a pretty cool feature.

 

When I turn my Xbox on I'd love to have little more "Me" to it, a theme or whatever. No one said anything about staring at themes for hours. You must be reeeaaalll high!!
