Xbox music, I'm trying to like you...

My patience is wearing thin with Xbox music. I subscribed almost a year ago now with my Xbox one and we have yet to get background music with games without the obtrusive snap screen up. It can't be that hard to update this. There is plenty of people out
there that have been waiting for such an update, yet we have been ignored.

Also, this may not be a Microsoft issue but does anyone know if ms has a beef with victory records or the other way around. There is several bands from that label I can't play through Xbox music on my phone anymore like emmure, the bunny the bear, and tear
out the heart. The strange thing is I had all emmure albums playing fine but at the start of august none of the songs I had will play now and are greyed out.

Are you able to use the money you have on your Microsoft Account to purchase Xbox Music Pass?

So I bought like $250 of Microsoft money and added it to my account and I'm down to like $108. When i go to purchase the Xbox Music Pass on the Xbox Music app it lists my Microsoft account as a payment option, but it's gray and can't be picked, (I'm trying
to purchase the year membership.) Is it because I won't have enough due to taxes? (the year membership is $99.90). Or it's just not possible to purchase the Xbox music pass with the Microsoft account?

I would like to clarify that I am NOT trying to purchase music as in single songs from the music store, I am trying to purchase the Xbox Music Pass.

Anyway to quickly navigate to music using voice commands?

I'm trying to figure out a way to access music like my pandora pin without having to grab the remote. Is the only to get music playing through voice with Xbox Music?

Anyone find different remedies to get to streaming free music by voice command on xbox one?

Youtube is no good if you have to keep your phone closed out to work.

Was listening to Emmure fine, then boom. Everything greyed out.

It kinda *** me off, and as a paying customer, I'd like some info covering this subject.

Is this happening only when you try to play music using Spotify? Or if you try using a different music app like YouTube, Apple Music, Amazon music the issue persist?

By the way, when you say “change the input” do you mean changing the output audio for the HDMI connection? (For example, if you are using stereo uncompressed, change it to 5.1 and test with each audio option available)

And, if you try using headphones the same happens ?

Wow, this is pretty cool - all you gotta do is go into Xbox Music on your PC, try and create a station, and it will give you a few options such as a free trial or what the OP is talking about above, which is the ability to sync your collection to OneDrive
and Xbox Music- this allows you to play your music on any device via Xbox Music. I'm currently transferring files to make this work, though, so I can't readily confirm if you can listen to music you don't own like the OP says, but if so, that would be an awesome
loophole.

Does NBA 2K13 support custom music?

Also, try connecting a usb device that has music on it and see if that works. I dont use music on xbox but Im pretty sure the xbox does not allow to download music from a disk like that. As far as I know, you can only play music that is saved to the xbox
via the music player on the xbox guide.
