Xbox music, how to switch between devices???

HI all, seems like a simple problem? Think again!

I'm out and about, connected to my Xbox music pass on Nokia Lumia 920 (WP 8, Black update).

I come home and want to switch to using Xbox music on my tablet in my living room, BT streaming to my amp.

No can do.

Xbox says I'm currently streaming from another device. I close Xbox on my phone, but still get the message.

The only solution is to restart my phone AND tablet, and then opening Xbox Music on my tablet.

Same thing later in the evening, when I go upstairs and want to stream from PC in my home-office. I have to restart my tablet, before opening Xbox Music on my PC.

There's gotta be a simpler way, right???

Help! Please?

Windows Phone 8. How do you close X-Box Music

Hello AbelCannon2,

There isn't a way to "close' the Xbox Music app on your Windows Phone 8, per se. If you use the steps from the Windows Phone Basics How-To page titled

Switch between apps, you can go to Xbox Music and stop the playback in the app.

Let us know if that helps.

XBOX Music on W8 - Not Streaming Music

Also forgot to mention www.wpcentral.com has reported this as a possible DRM issue between the 2 music services just not sure how to get around this.. I would post a link but on win 8 I'm not sure how to copy and paste and switch between tabs on IE

I have the same problem but I want to remove my xbox 360 from xbox music so i can listen to it on my windows 8 phone (Nokia Lumia 920 {Lumia Black}) but i cant seem to find out how!

Bluetooth ftw! I just wish there were units out there that can switch between 2-3 different devices via manual control so I don't have to have a separate headset for Xbox, PC, iPad, etc. (sorta like how some Logitech mice have 3 different devices you can
switch between via switch.

between music, tv & games --- sure, why not.

between one game to another --- depends. if the games were bought online they dont require disks therefore you can quickly change.

if the games were installed from disks then it depends on how physically agile you are!
