Discus and support Xbox Music App in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I seriously cannot believe Microsoft even bothered putting an app on the google play store.     Xbox Music App


    I seriously cannot believe Microsoft even bothered putting an app on the google play store. On both my Nexus 7 and Note 4 it doesn't even let me log in! It gives me the same "sorry, something went wrong" message every single time. Since I'm going on vacation
    in a few weeks I thought Xbox Music would be a good music streaming service so I bought a subscription card. Wow, was that a massive mistake.

    Judging by the reviews on the app I think it's clear that Microsoft doesn't care. I don't think its possible to get a refund on my purchase since I bought a card in-store not online so I'm out of luck.

    If Spotify or Google Play had this many compatibility and feature problems on their respective apps it would be fixed withing a few weeks.

    If you're reading this, have an android, and are considering getting an Xbox Music subscription, don't. At least until Microsoft steps up their game.

    signed up for the 30 day trial for music pass

    seeing as the Music app is no longer zune but xbox music now the videos have to be re downloaded through your down load history witch can be found in the account management in the setting part xbox 360..the app you want is xbox music if you click on the
    xbox music in the music ssection your xbox 360 should automaticly load the app.the app can also be loaded up on you xbox by going to the music section on you xbox 360 and goto the xbox music section you should be able to get the music app there

    To use the Cloud-based feature of the Xbox Music app to stream your music to other devices in Xbox Music, you need to have an Xbox Music Pass, specifically.

    Just to verify, are you able to play the ripped music with the Xbox Music app on the PC?

    that article has no quote that the only way to play your music is through the xbox music streaming app, the writer never even states that xbox music is only the default music app, however, he clearly misleads the reader to believe you will not be able to
    stream music you own without paying. honestly its some horrendous journalism.

    even if ms isnt providing a music streaming app, it will only be a matter of time before one of the many ms approved metro or winp8 music streaming apps is ported to x1.

    it should also be noted that the win8p xbox music app allows you to play your own music/mp3s, so id imagine it is only a matter of time before they add this feature to x1 xbox music app.

    Playing music from browser

    Hello Norm Sash,

    To play music with Xbox Music on your PC, you'll need a Windows 8 PC with the Xbox Music app. Music would need to be played using the app and not streamed through the browser.

    You can also use the Xbox Music app on an Xbox 360 console or on a mobile device that also supports the app. Let us know if you're able to try one of those alternatives.

    To help us clarify the issue a little better, are you currently on a Zune Music Pass using the Xbox Music app, or are you subscribed to an Xbox Music Pass, specifically?

    Let us know. For the best performance with the Xbox Music app, an Xbox Music Pass is recommended.
