xbox multiplayer help

I have purchased xbox live for my son. He can play mindcraft with others but nothing else. How can I get him to be setup for multiplayer???? I have been through tons of the "help" things. He has Roblox but cannot join a game. He also just got overwatch and
it tells him he cannot play multiplayer.

please help

Have you looked over the privacy and security settings that are set up on your son's account? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...ety-and-privacy-settings-for-parents-and-kids

Sign in to your Xbox.
Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then go to System > Settings > Account.
Under Account, select Family settings > Manage family members.
Select the child whose settings you want to update.
Select Privacy & online safety, then choose default settings, or customize by selecting View details & customize.

first of all checks those who can invite you to match, (there is a configuration for only friends if if you don't already have them added you won't be able to play) another thing is nat you should be open and if you have an account with parental control
maybe some configuration of security don't let it

The answer is because your account is a free silver account, you need to upgrade to Gold for online gaming features.
