Xbox multi player

I bought an xbox because i wanted a game console to play with my son. Why are all the games single player?????? Or multi player online?

Its f. B. S. I’m extremely upset. Can anyone tell me how to set up multiplayer?

I bought warhammer because its multi player - **** is the point if its online only???????

Usually Co-op is followed by multiplayer when you're reading it. It takes more than one person to play therefore it is technically 'multi' player. However when people are talking about multi player they are usually referring to competitive multi player on

halo 2 multi-player,rainbow 6 multi-player,mario kart 64 multi-player and many many old console games that didnt have a save feature

I also started playing with my cousins, it was a lot of fun. But I think due to technology and the internet it ended up distancing local co-ops from the online co-ops.

There are still many games that allow you to play with multiple people locally (overcooked you can play with 4 people).

And it's not Xbox's discretion, it's up to the game developer to think your game is a local co-op game or offline solo or online solo and so on.

I’m very disappointed with xbox.

I grew up in a world where people played together in person and all games were like that.

I see the advantage of remote gaming but it shouldn’t be at the expense of in person gaming.

It is very sad indeed.

Not all games allow multiplayer locally. This link has a list of some games that allow local co-op. Before purchasing any game, make sure the game allows local cooperation.
