    I have an Xbox Series S and want to buy a season of TV shows. It says it would be over 150 GB of space which I obviously do not have on a Series S. It looks like all shows are showing up as being that large. How is this possible? Shows should not require much space.

    Yes you can watch tv shows and movies on tv and movie apps on your xbox as long as it's current or NEXT GEN not legacy consoles

    Also.not all movies and shows are available

    yeah uncompressed raw video is the beans, but even i have a limit at the amount of storage use lol.

    It’s far far more than that. A standard def uncompressed 480p video signal is 1GB/sec. professional movie cameras use lossless compression similar to a zip file

    All video is compressed, some more than others.

    I wouldn’t worry about the download size. It’s clean animation and what, 13 episodes. I doubt it’s more than 50 in highest res.

    Even if it were, you can use an external drive to store or stream

    then it is heavily compressed which is usual. streaming and downloaded video is horrid. if you like a descent quality 4k picture and proper audio then you have to have huge file sizes.

    At lower resolutions it still says 150.15 gb. How is it possible that one season of rick and morty is 150.15 gb on an xbox and a minuscule size on an iphone?
