    XBox Move Organizer to a Member for Parental Controls


    Xbox settings , I need to remove an organizer account to member account for parental controls. Is there a way to save the organizer account name and move that to a member. How do I do that? I want to move my child to a member account for parental controls.
    If I delete the account does they loose all their game achievements? I need a how to steps.

    Hi,

    From waht I can see, you can't switch a organizer account to a member account. The best way to change the status of your child account is to leave the familly with the account of your child and send an new invitation. It should become a simple member.

    Your child will not loose her/his unlocked achievement. They're linked to her/his Xbox Account.

    Ok, so since you're 16 you have a "child account".

    If you're not able to change your privacy settings, your account is on a Family Group that has Parent Control over it.

    Sign in here with your account and you should see the members of your family group and the organizer as well https://account.microsoft.com/family/

    You need to ask the organizer to change your privacy settings for you (usually one of your parents).

    Have you ever had multiple accounts on your console? Weird that it would have only 1 member, and that member is a ID'ed as a child.

    In order to change your privacy/family settings, you would need to be signed in as the Organizer/Parent to make those changes (either directly on Xbox.com, via Xbox settings, or the app).

    Please don’t say that. It means that there is no organizer on your account. If you’re still a minor you need to ask a parent or an adult to ass you as a member so they can manage your account settings.
