Xbox mouse compatible on microsoft edge

This needs to get heard. I recently just bought a mouse and keyboard to use for the microsoft edge app. I found out thought that it is not compatible yet and it is really inconvenient. I just want to use the app effortlessly without the controller. It would be way easier to use the microsoft edge app. Please put this into consideration.

Mouse cursor not appearing on Microsoft Edge on Xbox Series S

    Hello Farhan Ahmad Choudhary,

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you're experiencing issues with the mouse cursor not working in Microsoft Edge on your Xbox Series S. Let's troubleshoot this together to get this resolve.

Here are some steps you can try:

    1. Check Mouse Compatibility

    - Ensure that the mouse you're using is compatible with the Xbox. Some mice may not work properly due to compatibility issues.

    2. Navigate to Mouse Settings.

    - Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    - Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections.

    - Select Mouse.

    - Adjust the pointer speed and check if the cursor appears.

    3. Clear Edge Cache and Cookies.

Sometimes cached data can cause issues. Try clearing the cache and cookies in Microsoft Edge:

    - Open Microsoft Edge.

    - Click the Hub icon (three horizontal lines at the top bar) and then click History.

    - Click "Clear all history".

    - Select "Cookies and saved website data" and "Cached data and files", then click Clear.

    4. Update Edge.

    - Make sure your Microsoft Edge is up to date. Check for any available updates.

    - If there's an update, install it and see if the issue persists.

    5. Update your Xbox Series S to the latest software version.

You can do this by going to Settings > System > Updates & downloads > Console update.

Remember that troubleshooting can be complex, but I hope one of these steps helps you get the mouse cursor working in Microsoft Edge. May your productivity tasks go smoothly!
