Xbox motor is stopping while downloading grand theft auto 5 on disc?

Ok before I start my disc is clean becsuse I just bought it. My xbox clean too bought it 3 months ago.

Now when you install disc games on xbox one it is suppose to make a little motor noise that runs your disc. When you hear this noise it is downloading the game from your disc. Now while this motor is downloading my game it all go well up to 57% until all
of a sudden the motor noise go silent and I hear the disc sound fade like its speed decrease. Then a few seconds later bam! INSTALLATION STOPPED. So I hit reinstall and it continues on from 57%. Motor sounds ok but a minute later the motor gets silent again
and then installation stopped. Whats wrong? Why does this motor stops when it wants to? I want this motor to run the disc until its completely downloaded. The installation wont even go above 57%. But tell me...why does the disc motor silence all the time.
I wanna put it back on and keep it on until download done

Actually that is your console laser that can't read the disc. This can be caused by different issues the disc is damaged or the disc driver is damaged. Try to play another disc and if it can play your gta5 is damaged, if it can't be played means your disc
drive is damaged and you should send that console for repairs.

 

Well, with what he mentioned. I hope its not an issue with his console. Being it 3 months old only and this issues occurs. I would highly recommend to try to install the disc while the console is in offline mode and make sure to skip all updates if prompted
upon installation of the disc.

Another method is if you have a friend who also owns an xbox one. You can try to install the disc there to isolate the issue. If you will be able to install it on that other console then the issue is with your own console.

 

The OP mentioned in more than one post that the disc he is trying to play was pre-owned and presents signs of scratches:

That being said I think the issue is pretty much focused on the status of the game disc.
