Xbox Mono audio problem

So when i got on my xbox i could not hear anything. So i went to audio and messed around trying to fix it for a bit. But nothing worked exepted turning off mono audio. Feeling proud i got onto youtube and started watching stuff. Almost imitately found out the audio was very bad. Soundedlike a villain in a little kid movie. I checked a few more videos and they all wear the same. The only concussion i could come up with was buying one of those 3d audio things. But im only a child with just 30 dollars and didn't want to buy anything that didnt work or was unnecessary. So my question is. Is there a way to get good audio back and if not would buying a fancy 3d audio fix it or at least make it less unbearable. I felt like the only one with this problem and this is my last hope

Please answer these questions:

Which Xbox console do you have?

Did you try setting your audio settings to Stereo uncompressed only?

Is this happening with the audio coming through your TV or is this via headsets?

When this started happening?

In the meantime, try power cycling your console to see if that does the trick:

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.

Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

For anyone having this problem on Xbox, go to Settings -> Ease of Access -> Audio and then turn on mono output. That fixed the problem for me.

Check if your video is for xbox 360, i have a video with audio mono and the xbox can't reproduce but when i convert the video to stereo the problem fixed

I think you misunderstood the question. He does not want stereo as he is hearing impaired in one ear.

What you want is MONO output.

In the settings menu go to Ease of Access >audio>mono

All audio will now come out of all speakers/headsets etc.

It was Exactly the problem, somehow I had never checked that option area either, I was focused on the audio area.
