I can assure you that Kidas has all the legal approvals. The solution is COPPA (children privacy protection act) and CCPA ( California consumer privacy act) compliant. It was also recognized by some newspapers and known institutes (Philadelphia inquirer

Thanks, . I checked out the Xbox family app documentation. It looks interesting. Here comes the but. My wife and I don't know Max's friends that well, or at all, that we would be able to know which ones to block and as for how much time.
My wife and I were looking for something like a smoke detector. If there is smoke of bullying we could respond to it. Maybe this is too much to ask of an app to have intelligence.

I understand how we want to protect our children or grandchildren. I have a 9 year old girl, who loves social media, and it can be hard to keep on top off what they are doing when they are interacting online.

To my knowledge, Microsoft do not work with or has certified any product from the mentioned company, and i am unaware of the legal issues such a device might infringe. So i would reach out to the company for further information, and get in touch with a legal
advisor in the state/country you reside in.

Regarding the application, Microsoft takes the protection of players in the community very serious, an will continues keep giving better and better tool to manage that.
