Xbox money unable to spend?

Discus and support Xbox money unable to spend? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; My xbox 360 game will not accept my money! Whether it's points $ or credit card, it doesnt seem to matter.     Xbox money unable to spend?


    My xbox 360 game will not accept my money! Whether it's points $ or credit card, it doesnt seem to matter. Same error code keeps coming up (80153003) and I have tried all of the suggestions given to me by Microsoft. Please help! Thank you.

    I redeemed a couple of cards and it adds up to $40 but it won't let me use it as a payment option.

    While on the Xbox console you need to add a new payment option and click Confirm Purchase. You will receive a message stating "Would you like to use $X.XX in your Microsoft Account and charge the rest to your card?" Just click Yes and only the difference
    will be charged to your card. If you click No or hit Back, the full amount will be charged to your card.

    To clarify, upon purchase Have you tried to change payment method to the Microsoft account which is where your money is now stored?
