Xbox modern warefare - “damaged disk or dirty”

I got the new game and it started to download, stopped and asked if my disk was dirty or damaged. I took it back to the store and got a new one. It did the exact same thing... What is going on?

I would just return it and try another one or maybe even from another store. Also take a look at the disc to see if it was damaged when you got it.

May be a bad shipment of games if for the same retailer. Had tbat issue with halo 5 and found out that was the problem as the store had to recall.

I had the same issue last night, I had to turn off, unplug and then power back on for it to recognize the game disk. Think this might be affecting a lot more users. I should have bought the Digital Only version.

Its not you being hacked its you Xbox's disk drive probably slightly damaged or dirty.
