    Hey there, o Aceq o. Are you storing the mic in a safe space when you're done with it? If you think it might be getting physically damaged I'd keep a close watch on it to make sure there are no outside factors damaging the headset. If you're storing it on
    your couch you might consider leaving it on a shelf instead just to be safe.

    There's many more headset makers than just Turtle Beach. They're also known for being cheap (pieces breaking off easily), so looking into other stereo headsets might be good. But definitely getting a dedicated gaming headset (even if its not a surround sound
    one) will be better than the default Xbox ones.

    I've had the same 40$ microsoft xbox one wireless headset for a year now and I've never had an issue and nothings been replaced mic works, both ears work, cable good and controller adapter is good. I dont see how everyone gives their mics bad reviews

    Can the OP please tell my mics that they are crap. For some reason I've never had any problems with the ones that come with consoles. Are there better ones? Certainly... but the ones provided are fine. IMO.

    Same here, never had a problem with any of the Xbox mics, still using the one I got with my day one console. Perhaps being a little more careful with your accessories in the future will help......................just saying.

    Same.Got the same mic that came with my day one console & it still works perfectly.

    Agree with Shaggy,maybe you need to take a bit more care with your mics.

    My mic usually has the same problem, but my Xbox Controller's mic port is causing the problem. Either the controller mic port could be their issue, the mic plug-in cord, or the mic in general. Feedback has also had issues with constant screeches.

    Mic sensitivity

    is it your mic that is too loud or is it other people you are in a party with?

    to adjust the sensitivity of the mic, press the Xbox button on the controller then press RB 3 times to get to the System tab and select Audio from the options there.

    this will allow you to turn down mic monitoring so your mic is less sensitive.

    if it is other people in your party who have their mics too sensitive then they will have to adjust the mic monitoring on their Xbox
