Xbox/ microsoft has let down yet another consumer.

well hear we are almost a month in and still no resolve to my issue of crashed wifi hardware. But this is not the major issue. The big issue is that someone stole my serial number and used it to get a advanced exchange. So where does that leave me ?

i am unable to register my x1 (which was purchased at launch) which means I am not able to get my x1 repaired.

even after providing my proof of purchase I am still only given a we are sorry it is taking so long.

if any other gamers have a number I can call to file a complaint I would appreciate it greatly .

Wouldnt there be another serial number inside the console somewhere? On the 360 that serial number is in the console settings.So if yoour friend tried to use your serial number he would be so busted.I'm sure the number is on more than just a sticker.

Not my friend don't know how they got the number but they registered it online .

And the serial number on my console matches the one in my system settings box and receipt .

The other person has also recived a advanced exchange unit . FYI xbox shipped them one and the jack hole who used my serial number didn't send back obviously .

Big mess next time I will register my electronics immediately .

Alright, I have tried to stay cool about this, but I’m over it really. As early adopters, we are getting the “shaft.” I have been there on day one for all three MS consoles and have bought multiple versions of each over the years. Through the ups and downs,
I have supported MS and defended them to friends, family, fanboys and strangers. I know I received a controller that says Day 1, a character for Killer Instinct, and a day 1 achievement that nobody will ever see because it doesn’t translate into a cool avatar
item. (Not that avatars are visible to the general public anymore, another lame move, I thought they were a decent addition to a living dashboard.) Here are the major complaints; we get to test the bugs, consistently power cycle our Xbox 1’s for the no signal
on TV, Netflix issue’s, or frozen screen. Less than 4 months after the launch of the Xbox 1, a TitanFall Xbox1 bundle is available for $499.00 and it of course comes with the $60 game for free. Assassin’s Creed, Black Flag is available for download for $39.99
on the Xbox360 only. It is $59.99 on Xbox1 downloaded or at a retailer. Sorry early adopters, supporters, and all the folks who bust there hump to make their hard earned money and hand it over to a multi-billion dollar corporation who offers zero incentive
