Xbox/Microsoft account trouble

Are you 18 or older? If not, then you’ll have to wait. You cannot change the age on your account, at least not that I’m aware of.

If you are 18 and the console doesn’t recognize it then remove your profile and then add it again.

Try making your console home Xbox for both accounts (you will need to log into Xbox on your own account). This should allow you to share game titles between the accounts. If you're unsure on how to make an Xbox your home console this link will help

The date of birth on your Xbox account is permanent. Support will not be able to assist in changing this. Nor will changing it on account.microsoft.com.

The only way to promote a child account to an adult account is to age into it over the natural course of time.

Hey aidan, Since you're able to sign in on the website I suggest that you try the following:

1. Go to http://account.live.com and sign in
   
2. Click on Security info on the left
3. Turn off two-step verification

This should make you able to sign back in on the Xbox 360 Console. Regards, SamxBroski
