Xbox microphone issues part 3

Hello again,

An Xbox moderator has closed down my question as he said there was an answer, but there was no solution to my problem. I will continue asking for help until I get my money’s worth on Xbox Live and actually have a working communication system. My Xbox headsets
have not been working for over three years now, and after trying every method of troubleshooting and xbox support chat, nothing has seemed to make progress towards fixing my mic. I have no idea what could be the cause of this problem, as I have tried several
consoles, networks, controllers, headsets, and accounts to no success. Xbox support says there is nothing wrong and is unable to help me. Apparently I was going to be connected to a higher level of support, but i received no emails on the matter. I am outraged
that Xbox would allow this kind of problem to occur for this long of a time period. I am a loyal Xbox member, but I feel that after this issue with no resolution has weakened my positive view on Xbox and its services. I would appreciate any help and you can
refer to my other question that had all of the troubleshooting methods that I used to no success.

Make sure the headset is compatable with the Xbox. Make sure your console settings aren’t wonky, they could be prohibiting the mic from working. Is it just the mic that isn’t working or the headset all together?

The headsets are compatible with the Xbox. I have used Xbox microphones as well as third party microphones that all work on other devices. I should also note that I can hear everything on the headset, but i cannot be heard on my headsets.

Does the Astro A50 have a Stream Out Port?

I have the Astro A40 with Mix Amp Pro and I use the Stream Out port connected to the Microphone port to the PC.

If you do you just need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable. You would also need to change the Stream Out Port setting in Astro Command center to party chat only.

Then I have 3 Audio Channels with 3 audio sliders

Capture Card (Game)

Microphone (Part Chat)

USB Yeti (Microphone)

xATMOSx GUARD

If you have the xbox guide, an audio icon should appear at the top, maybe the microphone is muted from that part

That could be a clue however might not be part of the a different issue in your computer.

If you are using USB Type of connection for the microphone to computer or either microphone jack I think this will not involve the input and possibly the microphone is faulty. But we cannot say it is faulty 100 % since you will need to isolate this issue again. There's possibly interference or connectivity issue involved and testing another microphone will also help isolate the issue. On the other hand, troubleshooting like update driver, configure in settings could possibly fix the issue.
