    Xbox mic will not hear voice but I can hear chat


    I have an issue with chat/voice. This Saturday 3/5/17, my headset suddenly stopped picking up my voice. I can still hear game and party chat from other people, but they cannot hear me. I've tested with my 3rd party headset as well as the stock Xbox headset.
    Also, I've tested this on multiple controllers.

    Hard reset on Xbox, alternated MAC addresses. All network settings are good. Nothing is set to mute the mic. Even factory defaulted the Xbox. Nothing helps.

    I've seen this issue in other forums and I'm wondering if it was ever addressed. I don't recall seeing any updates for the Xbox or its controllers.

    Please help!

    No one can hear me

    Ive recently been having trouble with party / game chat over xbox live. No one is able to hear me. My mic isnt muted and im not muted in party chat as my icon still lights up when i speak. I can send voice messages fine and can hear others aswell. I purchased
    a new mic thinking that was the problem but nothings changed. Im in the xbox preview program but not heard any problems like this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Game chat broken

    Okay so okay so I have never been able to hear game chat on my Xbox one it's really annoying though because when my mic is unplugged I can hear game chat through my Astros but as soon as I plug my mic in I can not hear them talking

    Hi Zenosos,

    No just playing and using Party Chat with friends, they can hear themselves because of the Mic Sensitivity on my end picks up the voices in my headphones attached to the mic.

    I am having the same issue. I can see the green round dot in party going thick, so I know my mic is working. I can hear the game with my Turtle Beach. But my friends cant hear my voice, and I cant hear there voices even though I am in the party and can see
    their circles getting thick when they speak. Knowing the issues with Xbox live and Party Chat I am sure its MS fault!
