Xbox mic port

    My headset was working fine until today when I plug it in it is loose this seems to be a problem when I plug it into another controller it works fine and I don't know how to fix it I've tried everything

    Microphone send ugly noise all the time

    My mic usually has the same problem, but my Xbox Controller's mic port is causing the problem. Either the controller mic port could be their issue, the mic plug-in cord, or the mic in general. Feedback has also had issues with constant screeches.

    If it's loose it's physically damaged and not end user serviceable. There is no software solutions for physical damage

    Yes, both controllers fully updated.

    Mic is at2020usb+, headphones are the apple earbuds, phone is the Nexus 5.

    I'm using the audio out port on the mic and connecting that to the mic port of the splitter, and the headphones to the headphones port of the splitter, and the combo port to the controllers.

    Some more questions please.

    Does the headphone port carry mic/headphone capability. There is no mic jack port on the Thrustmaster.

    Also, I could use it when playing other games with a normal controller to chat as if the mic port is capable.

    Secondly, I want a hardwire connection from the XAC to my Xbox one S but the output from the XAC is USBc which I understand is not compatible with USB3/2 - is that correct. I prefer hardwire connections to bluetooth.
