    Xbox Mic Not Working


    Hello,

    I have an Xbox One that is only 18mo old. I tried playing one day and found out that my mic was not working. I went ahead and purchased a brand new turtle beach headset AND Xbox One controller. I tested them both on my cell phone, and both the mic and headset worked great. When I went to plug it into my xbox one controller, I can hear the games and game chat, but games are not picking up on my Microphone. I tried all troubleshooting methods and yet, nothing is working. Someone please Help!

    Is the mic an xbox usb mic or just a 3rd party mic? If it's 3rd party it may not work with the titles properly.

    The Turtle Beach Stream Mic works with the Xbox One by USB.

    Other mics may work but most don't.

    Does anyone know if Tritton Warheads 7.1's will work on an Xbox one?

    They will work as headphones. They will not work as a headset. The wireless mic connection will not work with the Xbox One and there's no wired mic cable option on the Warhead.
