    Xbox Mic can hear others but no one can hear me


    okay so my brothers just got an xbox live account and we tried to party up and he can hear me but I can’t hear him

    He has a brand new Xbox one S, brand new Xbox one mic and controller. We’ve tried troubleshooting, weve tried swapping headsets and the same thing happens? Does anyone have a fix to this

    CAN NOT TAIK TO ANY ONE ON XBOX LIVE I CAN HEAR THEM GOOD MY ICON HAS A RED RING AROUND IT

    man I just started having this same issue!!! With an Xbox headset! I can hear everyone just fine, but I can't talk to anyone in party, in game, and have used the skype echo test, to which I can hear her but anything I say isn't picked up

    Open nat

    Power cycled

    Controllers updated

    Bought a second adapter and nothing

    Profile settings correct

    Plugged head set into my cell and called someone, mic works fine

    Tested on two different controllers with the 2 different adapters

    Assigned them to my profile

    What ended up happening with yours?

    Yeah, kinda sucks I had to spend more cash and still use a third party mic set. But don't get me wrong my ax720s are still killing it.

    I'm having this exact same problem. I have tried 2 controllers, 2 headsets and still they can't hear me but I can hear them. One strange thing though is that when I try to enter "privacy and online safety" I get the error message "try again - there is a
    temporary problem with the service. please try again."
