xbox messed up

Discus and support xbox messed up in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; my xbox wasent working right so i contacted support they had me remove my account from my xbox, power cycle, then reset my xbox, now it wont get past...     xbox messed up


    my xbox wasent working right so i contacted support they had me remove my account from my xbox, power cycle, then reset my xbox, now it wont get past the update on the very first of starting the xbox so now i cant even play my xbox

    xbox messed up

    This issue often is caused by corrupted data in the console which prevents the home screen from loading correctly, this can often be fixed by a factory restore. Now as you can't actually access the settings to do this there is a way to restore to factory
    defaults using a USB flash drive.

    If you visit the offline system diagnostic support page you can download the Restore Factory Defaults file:

    support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool

    Read through the process of formatting the flash drive etc thoroughly and follow the instructions as if you were doing a system update but using the file you downloaded you may find that your console will then boot correctly.

    Yea, just kicked me off my account randomly. Been trying to log back in for around an hour now. I put in correct password then it says there was problem trying to log in. The problem is I was just randomly logged out. This is the third time this year this has happened.

    I'm sorry to hear that. Here are the steps that you can try for your concern.

    Solution 1. Try removing your account and add it back again.

    To remove your account:

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

    Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

    Solution 2. Try to do a soft factory reset without removing any games and apps.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Settings > System > Console info > reset then keep my games and apps.

    NOTE: This will delete the profiles on your account, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

    Try disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI cable (both ends), a different hdmi cable, and if needed a different port on the tv.
