xbox messages being deleted under 20 days

Not sure why they would have been deleted early, but unfortunately there is no way to recover messages after they have been deleted.

Not everyone received that message I'm afraid. If you're not seeing it in your Xbox Live messages then it sounds like you weren't chosen for this particular promotion as messages last 30 days before being deleted.

I initially planned to say under 20 instead of under 30, but I knew better . It's not an age thing it's a generation thing. Although being younger is tied to being more impressionable.

The Xbox message center is just the term for the location where you receive messages from Xbox Live, which can be accessed from an Xbox One console, account.xbox.com, or the Xbox app on PC or mobile. On the Xbox it's under Communication, then go to "Messages
from Xbox Live". On the other platforms you should just see the messages listed with your other messages, it will say Xbox Live at the top of the message thread.

I believe the terms state that it may take up to 10 days to receive the code in your Xbox Live messages but if you are eligible and did not get a code in those 10 days, then the code will be sent via email by 3/20/2020. So if you did not receive the code
within 10 days of joining, then you are likely to get the code via email anytime between now and 3/20/20 while supplies last.

I would double check your Microsoft Account subscriptions section and your Spotify account to review your history of subscriptions. Your Microsoft account will show your past subscriptions by checking the following link: https://account.microsoft.com/services/

The problem being is that most people under the age of 20 ( not all ) are too far removed from it. They don't really understand the meaning behind Memorial Day or Remembrance Day.

To ask them to put down their games console for a day or not play certain games, would be a waste of time.

A nice thought though
