Xbox message sent to me with incorrect username

On the afternoon of 8/5/23, I came across a message from my Gmail account from Xbox. The gamertag/username is incorrect, however; it says SleekIsland8357. That's NOT my username; it's .

I'm not sure is my account was hacked/compromised. Is there anybody that can check and make sure?

If it's not hacked, what has given me this situation?

The xbox agent was incorrect. I also spoke to a Forza mod about your situation and he sent you a message. Not sure if its a xbox live message or a xbox forums PM. But check both as he can help you.

The only way to report someone is via your console,support have given you incorrect info.

If this person sent your daughter a message then you can report them by viewing their profile from the message.

If you didn't get the message from xbox live then a ban was not enforced on the user.

Wow,not only have you just copied & pasted someone else's answer you've copied & pasted an incorrect answer.

The thank you message is sent out occasionally by the enforcement team if someone is suspended/banned due to a report you've filed.

The majority of the time you will not get the thank you message,in fact you will not be told anything, so saying that if you did not get a message then they were not enforced on is incorrect.
