Xbox Message deleted with gold membership code

Unfortunately there is no-way to retrieve deleted messages.

However - you could try contacting Xbox Support and see if they can see the codes generated for your account, although it is unlikely, but they have been able to do so for me in the past.

hey thanks for the reply, but no I did not see any message. I went to "redeem code" and entered it, then it appeared to process the code, then the error message appeared saying there was an issue with my billing and I needed to contact support.

and I'm not sure what you mean by "two you cant use the membership again once you deleted your membership". I haven't actually deleted my membership, I still have the same gamertag and everything. They just cancelled the prepaid xbox live gold code, I think
I will be able to reuse it in the future, once my billing is squared away. In the meantime I just want to turn off autopay, but still have not figured it out.

hi, well lets answer your first problem, now was there a message on your xbox saying that your gold was getting renewed? two you cant use the membership again once you deleted your membership

Thanks for the support message.

You can pretty much ignore that message because an Xbox Gold Membership is attached to your account, not a specific console, so Gold membership will work no matter what console you sign into. That message with the backwards compatibility thing shows for
every code you redeem rather it's a subscription, game, movie, or something else, so you can just ignore that message. You shouldn't have any issues with using Gold benefits on the Xbox One.
