    New Xboxer here. I'm tired of muting the Xbox between games because of the annoying noises it makes for each button press and joystick movement.



    Having searched online I am not alone and this trivial change is simply being ignored by Microsoft. It's to the point where if I can, I'd rather install a game on my PS4 than on my Xbox Series X just so I don't have to listen to the headache inducing noises to get to the game.

    Hey there XCeL goblin32,

    Sounds like the Narrator might have been turned on. To turn it off, just hold the Xbox Button on the controller on the dashboard and press the Menu button. That should disable it for you. :)

    KINECT is making dialogue choices for me and no sir I don't like it.

    You can also disable it, which is what I did. I don't mean the Kinect, but the in-game option to use it. Go to the options menu, and I think is the options for sound, have a section to change the Kinect language, one of the options is 'Disabled'.
