Xbox mechanical fault and billing

According to support, my xbox has a mechanical issue so it no longer plays any type of disc, to get this fixed I must send it in this costs about £100. It is probably not even worth that. Moreover to cancel a subscription is deliberately confusing, It
is almost like you are make it as hard as possible to not giving you money. Although these two points are unrelated it does show the shady practises adopted by Microsoft and makes their integrity questionable.

Its very easy to cancel a subscription. You go to your subscriptions in account settings and select "Cancel" As long as you don't have an outstanding balance owed it will cancel it. If you owe you must pay the remaining balance before you can cancel the
subscription.

As for the repairs. Consoles come with a limited 1 year warranty and some repairs have a fee. This is still cheaper then buying a new one. Ultimately the decision is yours however.

It is probably a mechanical fault. If it is still under warranty i recommend keeping it for a week and see if the sound starts to play and if it doesn't return it to the store you purchased it from. They would be required to refund / replace the Xbox if
it is a mechanical fault not caused by you. If it isn't under warranty i recommend find a local repair shop and getting the to have a yonder at it.

Although, you wouldn't necessarily know it has faults until after you made your purchase. Everything has faults after awhile. The power of gaming, when there is a fault, the developers have the power to fix these faults with an update, such as an mechanic
would repair faults on a car.

Should be more than 90 days for mechanical faults through no fault of your own.

The amount of gamers saying already that there new elite is having issues, ie sticks loose bluetooth problems 👍
