    I bought an Xbox one s a couple of months ago, I have a Sony str-dh750 receiver, and a sony xbr-65x930d tv. I was totally unable to get 4K or hdr through my receiver. I ended up having to connect everything to the tv and use the ARC audio out to connect
    my receiver to the tv sound. Today, I can't get my receiver to play audio. I'm wondering if I should be able to have everything plugged into the receiver and just use the hdmi out to the tv, or if the receiver is incapable of the 4K/hdr requirement that the
    Xbox one s needs. Thanks.

    Directv 4K channels limited to 1080p on Xbox One X

    I have a C61K-700 ( not listed correctly in post subcategories)4K mini receiver plugged into my Xbox One X and the two 4K channels only render at 1080p with an error message stating that my TV (My Xbox One X in this case) doesn’t support 4K.

    4K games and applications like Netflix render properly.

    Are 4K set top boxes not supported??

    4k UHD not working

    Same issue here...I meet all requirements for 4k via Netflix on my Xbox One X. Still no 4k. I am running through a Denon 4k receiver, but haven't tried going direct.

    update: I reset and re calibrated my receiver and I have sound again. But I would still like to know if I can have my Xbox as an input on the receiver and output the video and sound to my tv in 4K/hdr and eliminate the hassle of troubleshooting, before I
    bought an S I never had any sound issues and now it's rare that I don't screw around for a few minutes every time I use this set up.

    Did the same with my Onkyo and ran the video direct through HDMI to the TV and audio through an optical cable to the receiver. No issue with the picture, but the audio didn't get any better.

    Netflix Not Outputting Dolby Atmos On Xbox One

    I have the same problem on Xbox X and XBox One. I’m using the Denon AVR-X 2700H 7.2 channel Dolby Atmos receiver with the XBox X, and the Yamaha RXV-6A 7.2 channel Dolby Atmos receiver with the Xbox One. Both receivers were working normally outputting Atmos on Netflix until November 2022. Disney+ and Amazon Prime play Atmos content on both devices without issue, hence indicating that the problem is not with the 4K TV and 4K projector, nor receivers.

    The link didn't help, doesn't address the receiver issue. If I have to get a new receiver that supports HDCP 2.2 I'll look into that. It's about $1100 minimum for a decent receiver and was trying to avoid that.

    Is the XBOX one able to see a 4K HDR TV while passing through a new receiver that is 4k HDCP 2.2 compliant? Or is this an issue with any receiver?

    Or put another way: Can the Xbox One X hand shake a 4K HDR TV going through a receiver? If so what am I looking for in a new receiver to allow that? Or will the receiver that's 4K HDCP
    2.2 compliant actually hand shake the XBOX allowing 4K output?

    I get this error when going through receiver: 4K is supported by your TV, but not at 60Hz. You won't be able to upscale to 4K, but, depending on your TV, you may still be able to play some 4K and HDR
    content. To see what your TV supports, choose 4K TV details. Then xbox only out puts in 1080p
