    Hello I need help!

    I have internet speeds of around 100mbps to 125mbps I used to get this 100% of time when downloading games and playing, recently in the past 2 days I can barley make it over 5mbps I have seen multiple people on forums pages with the same issue as me I have carried out all resests factory reset and xbox reset and internet tourbleshooting i have called and checked with my provider and that side is not issue I have tried wired same result, I've test network connection on xbox it says 100mbps but downloads games at 5mbps someone help I don't know what's going on.

    Hello, Nathan3223. Thanks for reaching out! My name is Lucas. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user just like you. I'll be happy to assist you today.

    Please go to Settings > Network settings > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Select manual.

    It will ask you to manually fill your primary and secundary DNS IP. Try with these two combinations to see which one performs better:

    Primary: 1.1.1.1 / Secundary: 1.0.0.1

    Primary: 8.8.8.8 / Secundary: 8.8.4.4

    After that, on the same screen, go to Alternate MAC address > Clear > Restart. This will restart your console.

    After the restart, go to Network settings again > Advanced settings > Alternate port selection. Try with each one of the ports and see which one gives you a better download and upload speed.

    To test your connection (after changing ports and/or DNS), just click on "Test network speed" on your Network settings page.

    lol has to be 3.0 mbps mmmm whats mine 1.00 mbps (dam country living) how many issues? 0 games dropped? 0 errors when downloading gamertags? 0 issues when downloading and update? 1 why? power went out so 3 mbps is a load. Wish i could help you out but it

    Unfortunately it's been running fine up until yesterday, when this problem suddenly started happening. We assumed it was just an issue for the day but it's carried on to today. According to speed test, ping is 20, Download speed is 42.62 mbps and 2.91 mbps
