Xbox Malfunctioning suddenly?

3 days ago got back from Thanksgiving Break. The days before, my xbox was working perfectly fine as it always has. When I plugged it in to my TV, i turned it on and kept unpacking. About 10 minutes into unpacking i noticed that i never actually heard
it come on on my TV. The TV was on, the HDMI could detect it was plugged in and even holding the home button gave me the menu for turning off the Console, controller, or restarting the system. but nothing else but black screen.

So, i unplugged it, waited, tried again. THIS TIME, it did the fancy Xbox One X animation and sat on the Green "Xbox one" loading screen for about 6 minutes. Black screen again. Tried a third time, same issue. I then did a reset by holding the power and
eject button with made it turn on like normal. signed me in and I started playing. NOW, it cannot sustain an internet connection.

On day one, (wired connection) about every 2 minutes it would disconnect me from the internet and then immediately reconnect and would repeat constantly. I have NEVER had an issue with my apartments wired internet in the 5 years i've lived here. So I switched
to wireless and it was working fine save for a few lag spikes and doing the disconnect-reconnect thing once or twice.

Now day 3, for all of today and yesterday, I no longer have an issue of disconnecting from live and immediately reconnecting with either wired or wireless, but now my xbox is CONSTANTLY signing me out. it signs me out about once ever 10 minutes making a
lot of my games unplayable and interrupts any streaming. I have changed by password and added a passkey and it still does it so I am 99% sure nobody's signing into my account.

Has anyone else had this problem? It was working 100% PERFECTLY fine and like normal until I got back from Thanksgiving Break. I would really appreciate if someone could help me out if they know a fix. Thanks.

No luck with this method. Factory reset didn't work either. Problem still persisting and it just got me temporarily banned from MCC matchmaking. Haven't played a full CoD game in a while either. It's practically ruined online play.

Sorry to hear it's not working. This is likely due to the internet connection dropping. Can you try and connect your Xbox via cable and see if the issue persists? Also ensure you have no NAT issues.

If neither of these work you may need to open a repair request.

That's odd! I'm assuming all of your other wireless devices are functioning properly? I would suggest restarting your console (press and hold), if that doesn't work factory reset and if that still doesn't work then contact support.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully get your console back up and running. I can totally understand how this could be frustrating. Seeing as you are getting disconnected again and again, I would suggest trying the steps outlined
in
Xbox One Disconnect Solution.

When you get the chance, give that a shot and let us know if that helped.

i was under the impression that the controller update adjusted the sensitivity too.
