    Please help!

    I have yet to be able play my xbox for more than 15 minutes at a time for the past week. It will not stay connected to the internet. I've put in the necessary ports on my modem/gateway, but most likely I didn't do something right because now the problem
    has gotten worse. Someone please help me resolve this issue. I have Comcast as my internet provider and Arris sbg6580 for my modem/router. Thanks in advance.

    I would do what xDevilxGirlx421 suggested. You really don't have to set anything different than default settings for your Xbox to connect to the internet. As long as your modem is compatible with Comcast you should be good. Also try a different ethernet
    cable if you are using your Xbox wired.

    Normally it means you are losing connection to the servers. Call of Duty? Might try port forwarding and including the Call of Duty ports.

    My modem is a Motorola Surfboard SB5100.

    I didn't create a static IP for the 360, only the ONE.

    I forwarded all the ports and manually entered the IP and DNS settings on the XB ONE, but i was still losing connection with the host randomly. She also did port forwarding, but did NOT change her IP or DNS settings.

    My console is directly connected to the router.
