    Hi,

    So I'm currently struggling to log back into my old Minecraft account. Bought it back in 2012, where you just needed an email address and a password. Played for years but like 2 years ago I somehow quit (that was on Apple btw). Now that I also have a Windows
    pc (with Windows 10), I decided to play some Minecraft again. To my surprise, everything changed and I'm just really frustrated that I can't seem to log back into my account. I can log into my Mojang account on their website, but the stupid Minecraft app automatically
    sends me to some weird Xbox account that I never made. I can't seem to change back to my old account with my trusted username, servers etc.

    It's just really frustrating for me that everything changed, and I can't seem to get it back to work. Can someone explain to me what's happening?... Thanks in advance!

    *Edit, even this post is posted via this new weird account called StarMeteor or something, like, what's up with that? Can I just get my old account back with my own skin and username... that'll be great

    On your Minecraft launcher login page, please don't use your old Mojang account login details. You will need to click the "Go back" button on the login screen then click "Add account" and then choose "Microsoft login."

    Open the Minecraft launcher please, in the log in screen select go back and then press in the Microsoft login option, after this use the email and password you migrated your Mojang account to instead of the old Mojang login information

    You can click <Go back thing and then login using the microsoft login not mojang

    its pretty simple

    theres 2 types of logins

    as u can see it says

    Mojang Account (Email)

    U need to go back and log in using the microsoft account (email)

    You are trying to use Mojang log in, those 2 accounts you mentioned are Mojang accounts, after migration you need to use Microsoft login, but you are using your Microsoft email that you use on your new account on the Mojang login so it opens your new Mojang account, you need to use the Microsoft login and it will open the account you linked to it during migration

    To login with Microsoft go back in the launcher login screen
