My controller don't work with my iPad

I have the new Xbox one controller (with Bluetooth), with my Samsung phone it work perfectly, but when I want to use it with my iPad, it don't work, when I connect it to my iPad, the light stop flash, and stay on. On my iPad setting it connect. But when
I want to use it in an app ( Asphalt8) he don't recognise my controller.

I can get the update to work! Now tried uninstall and re-install and cannot re install! WTH???

Will other games or apps you download from the Microsoft Store crash when you open them?

If this is the only game that crashes, I recommend that you try to troubleshoot the problem from the application compatibility aspect. Follow these steps to run the compatibility troubleshooter to see what happens:

Please run the Program Compatibility mode troubleshooter, then try to install and check if it helps.

Tap on Windows Key and click on search bar.
Type “Troubleshooting” without the quotes and Click on Troubleshooting.
Click on View All the left panel of the screen and then click on Program Compatibility mode
Then click on Next and follow the instructions.
Restart game.
