Xbox loading friends list but no achievements and wont connect to anything online

hi

please help,

my Xbox loads up to home screen (only option at the top) my friends list is there but if i go to achievements it says "oops something went wrong".

on the right hand side it just saying "connect to Xbox live" but when i click on it i hear the noise that ive selected it but nothing happens. if i go into settings,network it says im connected fully with no problems?????

when i load a game it comes up "cant find saved games or previous data" 2 options available try again (does nothing) or go offline (pointless for most games)

can someone help please as it worked fine the last few days.

Friend's List

Hey guys, I have a windows 8 laptop. I always go to games to see my friend's lists. But recently, everytime i click "friends", its not loading and it ends up saying "can't connect to xbox. Try
again later." I can send messages and view my achievements but cant see friends lists. Its been like this for the past 3 days. I didn't download/or.change anything on my computer . What do i do? Please help. Thanks in advance

 

Connected to Live but not really

My profile will sign in amd i can see my friends list and what friends are online, but everything else won't work. Pins, community, store, all blank. No prompt to sign into Live. Online games will not connect either. Did a hard reboot with no luck. Internet
is active on other devices. Xbox says it connects to network but cannot connect to Live services. Xbox.com/status says its all up and running.

Not sure what to try next.

 

Try this it works in most of these situations. Log out of your profile and log back in. Once that is done test it to see if you can log in to Live. Let us know. Good Luck!!

just tried it again and seems to be working ok, wouldnt sign me in straight away but then when i signed in it worked fine.
