Xbox Live's Evolution

Hi guys,

As many of you already know, Xbox Live has evolved over time with different features. What are your
predictions for how Xbox Live might be different by the time the next Xbox console is released?

I hope the new xbox to have backards compatibility with all the xbox family, without have to wait the game to be avaliable on it, all the games should be avaliable with the new backwards compatibility

 

I think they will most likely have BC at launch.

 

I am guessing we will see an even stronger push towards Mixer creators.

 

I like the larger friends list but but the amount of fake profiles from identity trolls are ridiculous.

 

I think this too, or maybe a higher tier for xbox live going from gold to platinum or idk, just like Amazon does with prime subscribers, they get all kind of things on Twicth, that would be cool.

 

Hmmm...i think microsoft will merge gold subscription and gamepass in 1 service...every game can have the mod like pc and with skype on the ledge i bet Ms could buy discord and. Mixer+Discord would be awesome.

xbox live free - for free to play games, drop the gold requirement

diamond gold + xcloud/game pass?

 

Would be interesting mergin the game pass and live into a higher tier and if they're risky enough Twitch prime usually gives loots and stuff for certain games, they could drop that too, they're already giving games for free.

 

I predict (or would love to see) more off-platform games integrating with xbox live. Similar to how Minecraft on ios uses your xbox live account. It would be awesome for other mobile games, and even cross platform console games using xbox live as an option.
This feature would fit perfectly with the "play anywhere" philosophy.

 

I think we will see something more in the direction of xcloud project

 

I feel there be more of a focus on exclusives from studios that they have purchased and more from the Id collection

 

I think that Mobile integration will be pushed harder in the near future. With Microsoft releasing a good number of high quality Android apps, I think that they have a large user base ripe to add to Xbox LIve services.
