Xbox live

Hello there, i just downloaded minecraft on my computer, but i can't join the multiplayer due to how "my account is set up". It tells me to go to xbox.com and go to the privacy and online safety settings, but i need to put the last four digits of my phone
number, i put it in, The correct ones, and it says it sent a code to my phone so i can change the settings, however i searched everything and the code isn't anywhere, neither in my phone or in my outlook. Can someone possibly help me out?
