xbox live & xbox credit

I would like to say this is a really annoying feature...

Can I buy an Xbox Live Gold membership with the currency in my Microsoft account?

why not ?!
as a costumer i purchased the M.S points/ account Credit to use as i see fit not to be restricted.

as seeing now more the ever there are micro transactions and also the change to how we have xbox credit i say that the use of it should be for all products and services.

seeing as now out own currency is directly equal to the amount of credit we receive.

E.G.

you're a u.k. costumer and you buy a pre-paid code of which cost you £5, you get £5 xbox credit once redeemed.

therefore your own money then has been directly input to the account redeemed on for £5 credit.

you should be able to do what you want with that credit as you see fit, and not be restricted.

therefore if i want to purchase xbox live gold with my account credit i should.

Isn't the RRP of GTA 5 £54.99? That's what Shopto are listing it as anyway. Plus don't forget you can buy £50 of Xbox Live credit for £41 at the moment. I think this is how it will pan out on Xbox One in the early days: RRP for digital on Xbox Live, but you can buy credit for less.

server currency can never be used for purchasing Subscriptions due to the nature of prepaid currency not being a reoccurring purchase option

if you want pay as you go you must use a prepaid option like prepaid membership card as on any subscription server this is common sense

I don't know how you don't understand that

as per the section 6 of the terms of use when you create a billing account you allow us to have reoccurring charges until you tell us you want to cancel

when you purchase subscriptions you are asking for the convenicent and renewable option and if on the dashboard promotions like subscriptions

if you don't want the ability to not run to the store and the savings then you only have one option prepaid membership cards from a etailer or going to a shop

if you don't want to go out or enter a prepaid code you need to agree to their terms which is a subscription and It tells you right on the dashboard this membership will renew at this date

most subscription servers including psn plus and wow etc require you to have a renewable payment option like creditcard for subscriptions or you have to use prepaid cards and forgo the savings

even everyday stuff like cellphones and water utilities require a billing option to save you money and with cellphones prepaid cellphone users don't get the savings as billed customers

currency is just for dlc purchases on any servers

 

you cant have things both ways either way you follow all of the rules or not it is that simple

you can have pay as you go however like everyone else who want prepaid you have to buy your own cards or codes
