Xbox live / xbox.com down unable to sign in via XboxOne

I have tested connection all oohs good. Home screen I keeps saying "connect to live" well can't do that if there's issues with live. I tried going to support.xbox.com and it says there's problems with somethings but nothing to do with the system being die
and unable to connect to live.just would like to know what's going on? We pay for a service and all services has issues but the lack of info is really the problem for me.

There are no known issues with connecting to xbl right now. The are issues in seeing up multiplayer games.

So if you are not able to connect to xbl right now it is not a xbl issue.

Are you on instant on mode? This sometimes can cause problems with connecting to xbl. If so please power cycle your One (hold the powerbutton for 5 seconds until the box turns off, unplug the power cord and wait for 30 seconds before replugin and posting
up the console) and try again.

If this doesn't help please reset your One to factory settings. As all save games are stored in the cloud there will be no loss of data for you.

 

Actually sign in on xbox one is affecting alot of people at the moment... My self included.

There is currently an ongoing issue with Charter communications DNS server if you are with Charter. A quick work around is to clear your alternate mac on your network settings and once the console reboot use a public DNS server such as primary 8.8.8.8, secondary
8.8.4.4
