Xbox live won't update on console, even though it says on the website I have a one year ...

on my Microsoft account it's recognized I've inputted a year code however my xbox still thinks I'm silver and keeps promoting me to buy membership, furthermore when trying to view anything to do with my membership both on console and on the website i get
errors help!

I purchased gold membership but i still have silver membership

hi, i purchased 1 month of xbox live gold for £5.99 via paypal on the xbox website, now on the website when i log in it says gold membership. But on my console it still says i have silver membership and i cant access any gold features!

PLEASE HELP!!

Unable to access Xbox Live Gold

I'm experiencing the same problem....I bought gold about two days ago....(it showed up a day later on my credit card)... what's weird is since the first day I bought gold membership it shows I'm gold on the Microsoft website (Sign in to your Microsoft account)....
but on here and on my console it still says I'm free...it keeps telling me to check network but nothing is wrong with my network, I even then applied NAT to my console for Xbox live but it still says its my network

Hello,

Did you have a membership before you purchased a year of Xbox LIVE? If so, yes it's still going to prompt you to upgrade because you're still on your current membership, but once it expires, your year that you purchased will automatically pick up once it
expires.

I have this problem. I had no xbox live for over a year. I decided to add it tonight via the website. The X1 though still prompts me to buy Gold when I try to get online to play with friends...I thought Microsoft stuff was supposed to work.

the xbox live gold code is correct but on the console it says that I have to enter the correct one even though it is on xbox live

Okay, I tried both the USB and CD or DVD method, and neither worked. While I have the system update CD in the Xbox, it will prompt me with a message saying "Your console is up to date." If I'm connected to internet (still not Xbox LIVE, though), it will
immediately after prompt me with another message saying "A system update is available from Xbox LIVE. If you decline, you won't be able to connect to Xbox LIVE until you take the update. Visit xbox.com/update for more info. Do you want to apply the update
now?", and this is the same 'update' that won't process.

Site says signing into live having issues,

All xbox one services shown as up and running, as you don't sign into or need a live account for updates this won't affect the updates,

The update is incomparable with consoles with out the first update

My parent account says I'm allowed to purchase anything. Also, I never bought PvZ. I got the trial version years ago. My problem is I have an Xbox One, but I don't have a 360 anymore. My only way of purchasing 360 games with gold is through the xbox marketplace
website, but the website won't allow me. It tells me the above error, even though I've been given permission by my parent account, and the games I'm trying to get are free (as of now, Plants Vs Zombies and Gears of War 3). Yes, I have gold, which I renew every
year, and to add to my frustration (though personally less important) I can't purchase ANYTHING on the marketplace website due to my age (although others have already made threads complaining about that, so I won't make one). It seems to me that using the
marketplace website to make purchases is a moot point if you're under 18 (I'm almost 17), and basically means you're *** if you're trying to reserve free gold games for the console you don't have (in other words, there's no option for getting your gold games
of you don't have the console and you're under 18. Thanks Microsoft... -.-

I am also having this issue. Turned on console, auto updated, can no longer connect to Live even though the configure network test says I can.
