Xbox live won't tell me the post I got communication banned for.

Yesterday I tried joining an Xbox live party with two people. I wasn't able to speek and could barely hear because it said I had a privacy setting preventing it. I never ser it to that. When I left and joined again I received a very short communication
ban of 28 hours or so. The reason I was banned is for some comment or post I made in August of 2017.

I am willing to accept responsibility, but I still need to know what was typed. Its odd that it stayed up for over a year now and no one complained. Furthermore, I can't file an appeal to customer service. This is my first time I can remember getting
this so I'm not really sure if they tell you what for. I do have a feeling someone got upset at me in Halo MCC and just reported all my stuff or something.

Again, I'm not mad about this but more suspicious and curious. All I really want to know is should they have told me and maybe even what was said.

I didn't know that they did not have to tell me the content. I was really surprised by this but I am sure there are reasons for secrecy.

They will not tell you because you could back track and use that information to harass that same person.

When you are reported the team goes through your entire post history. Chances are that is how it was caught so far away.

It does not matter what they reported. Enforcement checks everything in your history. There is no "Limit" for how old a message might be.

Ah. So the report was filed a year ago and just sat there? I could understand not telling me the person, wich I don't care. But to not even tell me what it was is a little silly. Im not even sure I can find a comment from anything on Xbox over a year ago.
