Xbox Live wont let my discs work.

I just got my Xbox two weeks ago, but yesterday, the disks would not work when I was signed into my Xbox Live account. I tried using a non-Xbox Live account and they worked just fine. This is really frustrating to me since I just got the console and was
looking forward to playing on it. There is literally no way I could've broken the console b/c I set it up immediately and haven't moved it since then. If anyone has had the same problem and fixed it please let me know.

Xbox won't recognize skate games

My xbox wont recognize the discs for skate 2 or skate 3. Just says open tray. The game discs work on other consoles and other game discs work on my console.

my xbox 360 wont let me sign in to xbox live it use to let me sign in but i recently started playing again everything is connected right my account only works when i play xbox one

Hi SlayerHdThe3rd,

Sorry you're having issues with your console reading discs. Try to do the following. With your Xbox on hold the power button down for 6 seconds until the console quickly turns off. Then power the console back on and see if it starts reading discs. Sometimes
the Xbox consoles have some errors that don't always clear due to sleep mode rather than power down.

You mentioned that if you login to another profile on the console, then games read with no issues? Can you please elaborate on that a bit? If other profiles can read the discs but yours cannot then it's something with your profile, and not the console itself.
Also can you please let us know if your account id a child account or an adult account?

Mines the same way l4d2 wont work fable 3 wont work on disc fallout 3 wont work on disc and none of my dvds new or classic wont work all 360 games that i have downloaded work perfectly but no disc works that i have tried

Its not through xbox live, i bought the game disc and downloaded it to the xbox. I have a profile alrwady set up on the xbox and it wont work

Well I have discovered that zombies works fine on LIVE it is just the regular multiplayer that doesnt. No I cant load the maps on combat training or split screen and after checking my disc im not surprised to be honest! It wont let me install to hard drive
the disc is too scratched so im going to try renting one and installing it to the hard drive... I think this will work
