    Xbox live wont let me sign in


    I have been trying to sign into Xbox Live on my 360, I have just entered an email and a phone number for security updates and now that it has completed it says I need to re download my profile. I don't know how I am meant to do that without live.

    my xbox lets me sign in on the dashboard but when i try to play black ops and i chose xbox live it wont let me sign on it keels saying my connection is lost but it will let me use netflix bit when i try to play any game online it signs me out and wont let
    me connect to live.

    I know for a fact that when the Xbox is updated to the newest dashboard that EVERYONE and their mother needed to re enter/redownload their gamer tag to the console

    you most likely have 2step verification activated.

    visit https://account.live.com and sign in there, use "security and Password", if it is enabled either Setup an "app Password" to use for your console, or disable this Feature to use your normal Password
