Xbox Live won’t connect to Xfinity WiFi.

So ive been trying to connect my xbox to my new wireless wifi router. I have many other devices that work on this wifi so its not a password issue. Ive perform a reset of both the xbox and the router. Ive done things like change the wifi password, try
to manually enter the MAC addresses and make sure that MAC filtering isnt on. My wifi allows the xbox life ports so it doesnt have to do with that. I even have just done a factory reset of my console (keeping the games) and IT STILL WILL NOT CONNECT. I do
not know what to do. And its insane because the router is literally diagonal from my console. Please, someone help. My xbox has connected to wifi before so i dont know what happened.

if you mean a wired connection, i dont have the cables for that

Connecting to Xfinity WiFi requires that you go to the browser and log in using your xfinity credentials, kinda like when you use a hotel's wifi or airport's.

Even though it's not resolving the DHCP, go to Edge and see if it connects to the landing page.

Once you sign in you should be good to go.

Hi Dericka, thank you for the help. I tried resetting my Xfinity router and get the same black screen with sounds from the XBox. I do have Xfinity WiFi router with an Xfinity pod to extend coverage and the laptop connects to the pod when I'm upstairs in our bedroom. I suspect it isn't working because it's connected to the pod, but there is no way to control if it connects to the pod or main gateway unless I unplug the pod and that creates other problems for things connected to WiFi. Any other ideas?

I'm connected to xfinity wifi & it's saying that I'm not connected to an network. I play on xfinity all the time. I just was last night but now I can't connect. Also, my controller kept cutting off on me & it wasn't dead.
