Xbox live with the One and 360

My Xbox live ran out today, so I went on my One and redeemed 12 months of live. I then turned on my 360 to find I didn't have live on that same account. Is this how it is suppose to be, and I have to buy live on my 360? Or, is this an error in the system?

Is the Xbox 360 and Xbox One Xbox Live going to be linked to each other when the Xbox One comes out?

Is the Xbox 360 and Xbox One Xbox Live going to be linked to each other when the Xbox One comes out? Cause the Original Xbox and Xbox 360 Xbox Live were linked to each other when the 360 came out meaning people from the first Xbox could talk and play with
the people on the 360.

360 and One on same gold account

If I sign in to Xbox Live on my Xbox One, will I also be able to sign in on the same account on my 360 at the same time? Say someone is using the Xbox One in the living room and I'm playing my 360 in my bedroom. Will I be able to use the same account?

Gold should work across both systems. Try testing your connection on your 360 and see if that helps. There may just be a delay before the 360 recognizes the new subscription.

The Xbox 360 cannot actually connect to Xbox Live as per the list of countries that the Xbox Live service is available in. While Xbox Live is available in China, its only for PC/Xbox One and the Xbox 360's Xbox Live is no longer available or never was in
the first place as denoted by the asterisk next to China on the list.

Hi there,

I'm afraid that it sounds like you currently have two accounts, one offline on the xbox 360 and one Xbox Live account on the Xbox One.

There is an option to promote your offline xbox 360 account to an Xbox Live Account, but this will require a new Microsoft Account (email address), but the next issue would be that it is Not possible to merge multiple accounts into one Xbox Live Account.

So basically there are two options, continue with the current Xbox Live Account that you have on the Xbox One, or to promote the 360 account to an Xbox Live Account and download that to the Xbox One and continue with that one.

Uruguay is not part of xbox live regions so you can't purchase from xbox store
