xbox live with 48 Million Members not able to use xbox live for days

i was in misery connecting new XB1 for the niece and nephews on christmas day i think i have high blood press now and a headache will not go away.

There are 48 million Xbox Live members. There are not 48 million Xbox Live Gold members. When MS has bothered to let the number of Gold members slip, the number has typically been 1/2 of the total subscriber base.

Forbes did an article breaking down how many Gold members there were and the revenue that comes from them as a way to compare to other services It included a great

infographic with the details.



tl.dr - There were about 17 million Gold members no later than mid-2012. They were responsible for 841.5 million of the division's 4.95 billion in revenue.

Can i See this statistic, because 48 Million Xbox live subscribers is a LOT, they are taking majority though 28 milliion is less than 48 million online users

Remember they may have internet, JUST not live, difference, offline means multiple things, either they connect to internet, just not game online, or no INTERNET at all. But then again you can tether your phone for your xbox to connect to do the check and
it only takes a few seconds, and its only few kilobytes than go off again, everyone has a tetherable phone

 

Biggest Christmas let down ever. I regret buying this console for the kids. 2 days now and not one game update downloaded. Every time I try to download an update, nothing. Sitting right now at 98% on FIFA 15. 2 hours!!!! My internet connection is fine.
Checked my bandwith over 1 gig overnight trying to get COD to update. Don't tell me to Powercycle cause I have done that more times than I can remember. Next time it gets unplugged its going back to the store and I'm getting my money back!!!!!

 

Online services will go down, it happens for various reasons but it's the nature of the beast. It wasn't down everywhere for 3 days, I had xbox live working perfectly since Christmas night and had no issues yesterday.
