Xbox live will not accept my postcode for purchases or rentals

Every time I try and purchase a movie I am asked to record my billing information. Every time I am asked to input a valid post code. I have changed my billing information in my microsoft account to reflect my present location, Australia, but it refuses to
recognise my post code. Even when my billing information is input case sensitive.

I live in Ireland and trying to set up Xbox live account get as far as my postcode which it won't accept

Error code 80150017

Trying to download the Sky app on Xbox one located in Ireland. I continually get #this isn't available in your region etc". I've changed my default country to Ireland and cleared the cache but still get the same error. Coincidentally, when trying to redeem
Xbox Live gold codes I'm required to input a postcode however my Xbox will not accept an Irish EIRCODE it only appears to accept a UK postcode which to me suggest my Xbox is hardcoded to the UK even though it was purchased in Ireland. SKY has confirmed they
do support SKY via Xbox in Ireland.

Has anyone encountered similar country code issues? Thx

Hi, similar problem. We just bought a 360 a month ago and our 1-month free trial of LIVE expired yesterday. I've gone in today to try renewing and cannot get the payment screen to accept my UK postcode (it is also defaulting to mandatory US State, but we
live in UK and always have). I went back through all settings, and noticed my default region was US, so changed that to UK. I've also double-checked addresses on settings and profiles etc, and everything now correct. I then logged out completely and signed
back in. Went through the process again but this time the Renewal option doesn't appear and in fact my billing history is showing no purchase transactions at all. I've re-entered my credit card details and tried to buy 12-mth subscription from scratch, but
every time it defaults to US payment screen, again not recognizing my UK postcode and insisting I choose a US state. Please help!

OK, for the life of me, there is no postcode setup. Reset the one guide and tv tuner, all it asks for is my provider, which I select "Freeview - Brisbane" Sent you a PM with my postcode.
