XBOX Live Whole Household Membership

We have just purchased a 12 month XBOX Live Gold Membership and have the XBOX set to My Home Xbox however the Gold membership isnt showing up on my profile when I log in. it is still trying to be me to purchase a membership. It is showing up only on the
main account for the XBOX One. Thank you.

If the main account has the console set as the Home console then that account will need to go to Settings and scroll right until you see Add to Family. From there all other gamertags can be added in order to share the Gold.

 

Thank you for your response. We have already done the Add to Family from the beginning of the XBOX Setup and checked it again this morning. It still shows Learn more about XBOX Subscriptions under my Gamertag and tries to get me to purchase a subscription.

 

It is still not recognizing my Gamertag on our XBOX One system as part of the Family to allow me online activities without the main Gamertag on the account first signing in. If the main Gamertag isnt signed in, then it is trying to get me to purchase a
XBOX Live Membership. Any assistance please ???

 

Ok, is the console set as the Home console for the gamertag with the Gold membership? That's the way sharing is handled on the console. The tag must be set as Home with all others listed as part of the family

 

That is exactly the way it is set. The XBOX Console is set as the home condole. It is the only console we have. The Gamertag with the GOLD XBOX Live membership is BSBALLUMP and it shows that gamertag has 12 months expiring March 2016. My gamertag is
listed as part of the family. When I try to use online features and game play it takes to me a screen that says Learn about Gold membership and then on to XBOX Live pricing options. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

 

Ok, great. But I'm not sure you're understanding my question. You have multiple gamertags on the one console and say that the tag labelled "BSBALLUMP" is the one that has the Gold membership and is listed as part of the family. However, what I'm asking
is whether BSBALLUMP is set as the main gamertag. This means that BSBALLUMP would need to have the console set as the Home console. Sharing a Gold membership will not work any other way.

Right now the way I'm understanding your explanation is that BSBALLUMP is part of the family but not the main gamertag.

 

Again I thank you for your assistance and patience. The "BSBALLUMP" gamertag is the main gamertag and has the console set as "MY HOME XBOX" under "SETTINGS" and then "MY XBOX" It provides the message that states "Your home XBOX....This is your home XBOX....If
you have GOLD, your whole household....etc." It shows my gamertag "" as part of the family and allows the "BSBALLUMP" gamertag to manage the settings of "". Is there some certain way to check and make sure and show that "BSBALLUMP"
is the main gamertag. That gamertag controls all of the settings for our XBOX and is the adult gamertag for our house. Thank you again.

Alright, while signed into the BSBALLUMP gamertag head to Settings then scroll right to Add to Family. Make sure that you add all other gamertags to the family and then it should share the Gold membership out to all tags.

 

My gamertag is already added to the family. When signed in as the BSBALLUMP gamertag and scrolling to the right it shows my gamertag. Clicking on my gamertag then takes you to a screen that says "Remove from family" which would indicate that I am already
added to the family. When signed in as it will not allow me to make changes and add family members as I am not the main gamertag. It still taking me to the Learn About Gold Membership screen under my gamertag . Thank you for your

Right. However, BSBALLUMP should not be the one added to the family. All other gamertags should be added to BSBALLUMP's family. Remove that tag from the family and add all other tags to it. That should solve the sharing issue.

If that doesn't solve the issue then there may be a glitch in the tag itself that should be looking into by contacting phone support.

 

Under the BSBALLUMP Gamertag Family it shows me and the option to ADD TO FAMILY. When clicking in the ADD TO FAMILY it wants us to add more family members. is added under the BSBALLUMP family because the option to remove ROBOT
TIGER 1 from the family is given to BSBALLUMP. Thank you again.

 

Under the BSBALLUMP gamertag we just removed me from the family and re added my gamertag to the family and still nothing. We also just updated our XBOX One with the latest update and my gamertag does not display the new HOME screen with the
new choices at top PINS HOME FRIENDS WHATS ON STORE. Only the BSBALLUMP gamertag has the new What's on area. Thank you
